Scenic Shots
|
|
Have been on the road some more again - I like snapping shots while I drive - Saskatchewan has a lonely, cold beauty that I really enjoy.
Here are some views along the number six highway.

I was in M.J. the other day and caught some pics of the heritage buildings that were recently burned down. Interesting that my mother was in them the other day and although she thought they were charming buildings the thought did enter her mind re: the make and vintage of the buildings that "this place is a fire trap"... interesting enough her colleague silently thought the same thing.
The water was incredible - I think they hosed these buildings for a solid day. I was able to arrive as the sun was setting - it makes for a nice backdrop.

Pictures from the Schocks

Some buddies came home from B.C. and had some people over to their parents house. It was great to cruise over there and drink some coffee, have a visit.

Cruising to Saskatoon For a Wedding!
|
|
I was able to see friendship go to another level on Saturday My good friend David and his lovely new wife Tara were married. Here is a shot of the altar (after everything)
I married them, so I wasn't able to snap any shots - although I'm hoping to get some pics that were taken on another friends digital. Their wedding was at St. John's Cathedral in Saskatoon, arguably the most beautiful cathedral in the city...
Here is some shots of the countryside on our way to the city.

Bennet's Cupboard

This cupboard has an irresistable magnetism for my son Bennet. First thing in the morning he is still half asleep and cruising towards his cupboard - pulling pots and pans out.
It wasn't a surprise when he climbed in - but it seemed fairly athletic to me.
